AMBER VALLEY GOLDENS

1. Puppy Information

Breed: Purebred Golden Retriever | Registry: American Kennel Club (AKC)
Type: AKC Limited Registration (Pet Only); $700

This puppy is offered solely as a family companion under AKC Limited Registration, and no breeding rights are included. Buyers who would like AKC Full Registration (with breeding rights) may request it for $1,000; this upgrade requires separate discussion and written approval from the Seller.

2. Payment Terms

Purchase Price: $700 (Limited AKC Registration — Pet Only) | $1,000 (Full AKC Registration with Breeding Rights, upon Seller approval).

A non-refundable deposit of $300 reserves the puppy and is credited toward the total price. The remaining balance is due in full at pickup and may be paid by cash, bank check, or online invoice. The puppy will not leave the Seller's care until payment is complete.

3. Health Guarantee (First 98 Hours)

The Seller guarantees that the puppy is healthy at the time it is released to the Buyer. The Buyer is required to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian within 98 hours (4 days) of pickup. Failure to complete this examination will make the health guarantee invalid. Once the puppy has been picked up, all veterinary expenses become the Buyer's responsibility. Illnesses or conditions caused by stress after the puppy leaves, including parasites, are not covered under this guarantee.

4. One-Year Health Guarantee

Until the puppy's first birthday, it is covered against congenital and hereditary conditions. Any such condition must be diagnosed in writing by a licensed veterinarian, and the Seller must be notified within 24 hours of the diagnosis. The Buyer may then choose one of the following:

1. Return the puppy for a refund (less the deposit) plus reasonable veterinary fees for certifying the condition.
2. Return the puppy and receive a replacement of equal or lesser value.
3. Keep the puppy and be reimbursed for treatment costs, up to the purchase price.

5. Return Policy

Any returned puppy must be in good condition apart from the documented issue. Transportation costs for returns are borne by the Buyer, and replacement puppies depend on availability.

6. Exclusions (Not Covered)

This guarantee does not extend to vaccinations, deworming, or heartworm prevention; environmental conditions such as allergies, thyroid problems, ear mites, mange, or autoimmune disorders; hip or elbow injuries; hernias; hypoglycemia; urinary tract infections; coccidia; giardia; or any stress-related condition.

7. General Terms

Except where this agreement says otherwise, all veterinary expenses belong to the Buyer. The Seller makes no promises regarding size, color, coat, ear set, temperament, or show or breeding quality. This agreement is voided if the puppy is sold, transferred, or given away.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to:

• Have the puppy seen by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours, at the Buyer's expense.
• Keep the puppy healthy with proper veterinary care, good nutrition, and a safe home.
• Feed a high-quality diet (Zignature or The Honest Kitchen are recommended) and avoid overfeeding.
• Restrict exercise during the first year: no jumping above 2.5 ft, short daily walks of 10–15 minutes, and supervised play.
• Provide consistent training and socialization. Amber Valley Goldens is not responsible for behavioral issues.

9. Seller Responsibilities

The Seller guarantees the puppy will be dewormed, vet-checked, and vaccinated before going home, and will include AKC registration papers (limited registration).

10. Legal Disclaimer

No warranties exist beyond those written here. This contract is the entire agreement between the Buyer and the Seller.
